The Yoga Arts Byron Bay Retreat venue is located on a large subtropical rainforest property in the hinterland of Byron Bay, only a 30 minute drive from Byron Bay CBD. This unique rainforest venue is surrounded by lush gardens and natural rainforest.
Retreat Focus: This retreat has been specifically designed for a limited number of participants. Having a small group of participants means that there will be plenty of detailed one on one attention and individual yoga instruction. The main focus will be on a healthy and rejuvenating yoga practice with talks on yogic lifestyle including; Ayurveda and Self inquiry, meditation, pranayama and yoga philosophy with individual detailed attention on your yoga practice and technique.
Participants will be guided by Yoga Arts’ senior teachers for 6 days of morning and afternoon Meditation, Pranayama, Yoga Asanas and healthy, nutritious vegetarian cuisine. This retreat allows time off to explore the surrounding landscape, go for walks in the rainforest, rest, read & enjoy the company of like minded yoga practitioners. The morning Asana sessions are more dynamic with the afternoon yoga sessions slower paced in preparation for winding down for a peaceful nights sleep.
The retreat venue is located at Naam Sanctuary Forest Abode in the hinterland of Byron Bay. The venue is an Eco Natural Paradise with a running creek surrounded by sub tropical rainforest. Accommodation is simple but comfortable, in different shelters including; cabins & traditional luxury Rajasthani tents set amidst the forest with share composting eco toilets and natural open air showers (screened for privacy). This unique forest venue is surrounded by lush gardens and natural sub tropical rainforest. The crystal clear creek, flowing between large granite boulders, is just meters away from the 20 meter infinity lined swimming pool. The venue and facilities are ecologically friendly providing an ideal environment for this specialized yoga retreat.
