Byron Bay Beach and yoga Retreats with Flo Fenton

Relax, recharge and be inspired on these deeply restorative retreats. Taught by Flo Fenton, frequent contributor to Australian Yoga LIFE magazine, the practice is challenging yet safe for most levels of experience, with a strong foundation in yoga therapy. Divine location at pristine and peaceful Tallow Beach, Byron Bay, and with gourmet organic vegetarian food freshly prepared on site by renowned chefs.

Flo has a background in healing as well as in yoga, and the style of yoga that she teaches although it can be challenging, is safe and therapeutic. She specialises in making yoga accessible to all, and gives multiple alternatives in each pose, where necessary. Another aspect of Flo’s teaching that is uncommon, is that each session flows from meditation, to pranayama, to asana, and back again. Mudras and bandhas are used in each session, and special attention is given to the awareness of the breath in the body. This focus draws participants deep within in a way often never experienced before.

The location is perfect; a peaceful, white sand beach, large timber floored cabins. and the food, specially prepared on site from organic ingredients by Todd Cameron of Gaia Retreat and Spa, who caters to all dietary requirements with an abundance of creativity, is divine! Flo prefers to work in small groups; retreat numbers are typically between 10 and 14 participants. For a truly rewarding experience, join Flo at one of the retreats this year.
